Dr. T.V. Thomas
Chairman and Interim Director, Ethnic America Network

Originally from Malaysia, Dr. T.V. Thomas studied in Malaysia, India, Canada and the United States. He is Founder and Director of the Centre for Evangelism & World Mission (founded in 1984) in Regina, Canada. For over three decades T.V. has enjoyed trans-denominational and transcontinental ministry of speaking, teaching and networking. From 1984 to 1994 Dr. Thomas served as the Professor of Evangelism for the Murray W. Downey Chair of Evangelism at Canadian Theological Seminary.

T.V. currently serves on numerous national and international boards: Chairs the Board of Directors for Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship Canada, and Lausanne’s Global Diaspora Network (GDN); Co-Chair of the International Network of South Asian Diaspora Leaders (INSADL). He is a member of Perspectives Global Advisory Team, Perspectives Canada National Team and serves as Multicultural/Intercultural Ministries Consultant for the C&MA in Canada.

T.V. and his wife, Mary, make their home in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. They have three adult children, Victor, Molly and Melanie.

Voltaire Cacal
Vice-chairman, Ethnic America Network

Voltaire is a first-generation Filipino-American who serves as Vice-Chair for the Ethnic America Network. He also serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives & Global Mobilization for Camino Global (Dallas, TX).

He and his wife, Tina, currently live in Texas with their three daughters. Voltaire was born in the Philippines, raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and has lived in Texas for over 16 years now.

He has also served with Dallas Seminary in the Spiritual Formation Department, and with RREACH as the International Director in the areas of “pastoral training” and “evangelizing opinion leaders”. Before entering vocational ministry, he worked in the Telecommunications Industry in areas of Technology Introduction, Strategic Business Development, and Market Analysis for SBC (now AT&T), Alcatel, and RHK.

Events Executive, Ethnic America Network
Be One Together, Hiram, Georgia

Mary and her husband Mike lead Be One Together, a missions organization that strives to make disciples of the nations which in turn impacts this country and the globally connected community. They support and train evangelical missionaries who work in multi-ethnic communities throughout the United States and internationally. They network with other ministries and churches for the purpose of collaborating to accomplish shared goals.

Mary serves Ethnic America Network as the Events Executive, and she and Mike make their home in Douglasville, GA.

David Oberg
Ambassador and Events Project Manager, Ethnic America Network

David worked for the Boeing Company for 37 years as an IT Systems Analyst and Project Manager.  He has been active in various ministries within the church and most notably as Men’s Ministry leader.  He is thrilled to use his marketplace skills to serve the Lord.  His wife Shari worked for 31 years as a public-school teacher and presently works with Seattle Pacific University student teachers and is actively involved in their church music ministry.  She is excited to work in ministry with Dave in support of Ethnic America Network.

David serves Ethnic America Network as Ambassador and Events Project Manager, and he and Shari make their home in Federal Way, WA.
